Gun in SchoolFamilies come to live in the Pinecrest area because it is supposedly the safest neighborhood in South Miami. Well, that was proven wrong on last Monday, April 20th, when Marcus Toney, senior, was arrested for having a loaded .32 revolver in possession. Toney was questioned at the station later that day, where police asked him why he brought the gun. Toney replied, “For ma protection.” Toney believed that the school would have an animal attack today, the Columbine gunmen would come back, and that his pregnant ex-girlfriend would find him. Vick JailedYesterday, Michael Vick was arrested for illegal dog fighting. “All I was doing was showing people how tough my Rottweiler, Doberman, and Chihuahua were” stated Vick, as he was being cuffed.
